Pushing Back on the Belly, Creeping, Crawling, Sitting, Pulling up to Stand

These classes build upon the work of the level 1 classes adding in more challenging props to further develop a sense of balance as well as emphasizing the breath. Essential movements to arrive safely and with strong spinal alignment in Sitting vertically are key elements.  Locomotion, rhythm, beat, and socialization are introduced in activates that use a variety of props to support the process.  Vestibular work is presented in tandem exercises with the caregiver as well as with activities utilizing big balls.  Yoga poses such as forward bends, backbends, side bends, and twists are introduced as well. Creepers are welcome to attend this class to help them move toward balancing on all fours and ready themselves for crawling.
